"Originally hailing from the cultural gem of St. Petersburg, Russia, I embarked on a journey that eventually led me to the vibrant landscapes of Massachusetts in 2013, following the completion of my DVM degree. As a full-time biomedical researcher, I have dedicated my professional life to the intricacies of science, but it was the vivid and expressive art of Vincent Van Gogh that beckoned me to explore the world of creativity.
In the midst of the global pandemic, when many of us grappled with the challenges of mental health, I sought solace in the realm of artistic expression. Drawing inspiration from my formative years in St. Petersburg, often referred to as the 'Cultural Capital of Russia,' where I marveled at the breathtaking architecture and the treasures housed in its world-renowned art museums, I uncovered a profound desire to create.
Though I dabbled in watercolors during my high school years, the notion of wielding a brush on canvas seemed like an uncharted territory until the luminous works and life story of Vincent Van Gogh ignited my artistic aspirations. It's been roughly three years since I embarked on this exhilarating journey, and I've been crafting my unique art ever since.
While I may don the hat of a full-time biomedical researcher by day, I'm an emerging artist by night. Nestled in Tyngsborough, MA, I share my life with my loving husband and the ever-watchful gaze of Salem, our dapper tuxedo cat. Together, we explore the multifaceted realms of science and art, forging a path that weaves both passion and purpose into the tapestry of my life's narrative."
